Tiny Spring House

 

If you've been visiting for a while, you're probably familiar with my unfinished wooden dollhouse shelf that I use in my big shelf-top stitching displays. This year, my shelf-top display is a work-in-progress dedicated to my small but slowly growing collection of patriotic stitching. You can see a couple of sneak peeks in this post. So instead of getting out all my spring finishes, I decided to just use my little bunnies and a smaller version of my dollhouse shelf. I found this one at Target in the craft aisle for $12 and I think it's still available. 

Just a tiny touch of spring while the rest of the sewing room is knee-deep in 250th stitching and goodies! You don't have to have a lot of space or decor or finishes to create a pretty seasonal display.
