Here they are--the last two blocks!
I made quite a few changes to the December block:
house: 919
snow on roof: B5200
roof: 645
window/door frames: 938
door: 780
windows: 972
December: 156 (same as the other winter months)
The banner is stitched with DMC 156 and instead of snowflakes beneath it, I stitched my initials.
And here's the completed sampler!
The colors in this sampler are so bright and cheerful, the camera really isn't doing them justice.
One more WIP to knock out before I allow myself some new starts!

Woodland Sampler: October & November Blocks
Me again! Trying to catch up on some WIPs that I lost track of last fall. Just the December and date blocks left on this one and it'll be a finish. Seriously considering fudging the date and stitching 2015 instead of 2016 since most of this sampler was stitched last year, and I'll remember it as having been stitched in 2015 anyway. See, I can do that since I make the rules. Isn't stitching fun?

Woodland Sampler: September Block
A mama hedgehog and her baby snuffling in the autumn leaves.
I think it's time for a little Christmas stitching... I'm starting to feel it!

Woodland Sampler: August Block
I'm still alive, y'all! Just finished this adorable little green-eyed skunkeroo for August.
And here's my favorite girl, supervising my slooow progress.
I'm having delusions that I can get the September block whipped out before the end of the month and be back on schedule.

Woodland Sampler: June Block
For June, a sweet little lightning bug.
(I don't know why I can't get a decent picture of this sampler... they're all awful! Sorry!)

Woodland Sampler: April Block
Catching up on the stitching I've neglected. Here's a wee bunny enjoying an April shower. He's supposed to be a jack-a-lope (with antlers), but I left off the antlers. I also changed his colors to DMC 840 and 842 to lighten him up a bit and make his eyes more visible.
I've got to pack a lot of stitching into the next 6 days if I'm to stay on schedule with some of my on-going projects. So far, so good on this one. But it's only April...

First Day of Spring... Winter Laughs!
Today is the first day of spring, aaaaand...
...it snowed all morning. Tiger Lily has been on her window basket watching the birds and the falling snow.
And I have the March block in my Woodland Sampler finished. It's a tiny mushroom under glass. The mushroom is supposed to have a little face on it, but I left it off. I also changed the color of the letters to 912.
Trying to get a slightly tedious band of elaborate snowflakes finished on Snowfire Christmas. Update on that tomorrow... maybe...

Woodland Sampler: January Block
Here's another project I'll be working on throughout the year. This is Woodland Sampler from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. My plan is to stitch one block a month. I'm stitching it on 28 ct. mushroom evenweave. I changed the border color to DMC 839 to better match the fabric (which is darker than the model), and I changed the word "January" to DMC 156.
Happy Stitching!
