What a weird weather week! We had heavy thunderstorms nearly every afternoon. We were also treated to this gorgeous double rainbow. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was the most vivid rainbow I've ever seen, and so large I couldn't fit it in the shot.
Summer downpour
Teeny tiny biscuits (I'm still tweaking this recipe, but Mr. Wonderful devoured eight of these last night.)
Happy Saturday Stitching!
You stitch so beautifully I wish I could get my threads to lay that smooth and have that kind of tension control....swoon.... :) Thank you for sharing and those biscuits look yummy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laura! For me, the key to even tension is having my fabric stretched tight in my q-snaps, and the key to smooth stitches is railroading, which I talked about here:

I always enjoy reading and viewing your Saturday editions, Honeybee. What a sweet pup you are stitching! We had some rumbles of thunder on Thursday, but I guess the downpours decided to skip us. What a beautiful double rainbow! Tiger Lily looks quite comfy as she monitors the stash. The mini biscuits look fabulous. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour cat is beautiful. Nice stitching job on the pup and that rainbow is so pretty. Nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that dog you are stitching!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Kitty looks comfy in your spot. Those biscuits look flaky and delicious. Happy stitching
ReplyDeleteThat's a HUGE Rainbow!
ReplyDeleteTiger Lily looks like she is tired of all the rain. :)

If Mr. Wonderful devoured 8 of the biscuits I think you no longer need any more tweaking!! They looks delicious! Miss Tiger lily looks quite comfy!! And your rainbow is beautiful, it's frustrating when a photo doesn't do the reality justice.
