The Last of Summer, The First of Fall

Summer warmth is letting go. Today, and perhaps a couple of days early next week, will be its last gasp. Fall will arrive, in all its perfection, with days in the 50's and 60's, and nights in the 40's. I can't wait. I come alive in the fall. Thrive in winter. Tiger Lily and I spent the day getting the sewing room ready for long hours of autumn stitching.

Happy Stitching!

  4. I love your autumnal display. I alway like to see autumn cross stitch projects and often mean to start one but most years go straight from summer to christmas stitching. x

  10. I love your collection of foxes. I have a few scattered around our house here and there too. It's our last name and people like to gift us stuff like that. All those little tiny stitches are so pretty.

    1. Thank you! White Pumpkins is from the 2012 Just Cross Stitch Special Halloween issue. The designer is By the Bay Needlearts. I don't know if it's been published separately from the magazine.

    1. I got the little fox last year at AC Moore, but I've seen similar ones this year at Jo-Ann's and other places. They're usually pretty easy to find. Good luck!
