Road Trip, Part 3

Back in the car, everybody! Last leg of the road trip and we're off to The Badlands of South Dakota!

Badlands National Park, South Dakota:

That's it for the road trip! We had a wonderful time and were blown away by the country we saw: the vast, lonely beauty of the High Plains, the pine forests of the Black Hills, the other-worldly ruggedness of The Badlands. It was all gorgeous in its own way. Thanks for tagging along!

  5. Just got back from a long visit with my grandson in California and I'm finally catching up on my favorite blogs. I loved your photo tour of a part of the country that I have yet to visit. I have a dear friend from high school who lives in the Black Hills area and I really need to get out there to visit when travel opens up again. Your photos are so lovely and I think the shadow of you two holding hands is so sweet. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to plan a visit!

  7. Thanks for sharing your road trip pics! It had to have been exciting to see the buffalo. I also saw this years Christmas ornaments you and hubby picked out; they're going to be gorgeous! It's a nice tradition you have going.
