All is well here. I've been drifting a bit in the summer doldrums, but I think I'm coming out of it. I spent today working on Christmas Open House, listening to rumbling thunder and late summer showers. The girls turn three (!) on Tuesday and got a new cardboard playhouse today for their birthday. They're so happy. Mr. Wonderful is well, too. Hope you're all enjoying the last few days of summer. Back soon.
Hi Honeybee, good to see you again, I've called in a few times to enjoy looking at the night birds display in your last posting. Lovely atmosphere created with the stitchies and small lights through greenery - a joy to look at. My cats favourite "toy" was usually made from cardboard - that or a paper bag. Looking forward to seeing this years open house - premature I know........Love to you all, Elaine in UK
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear! Marigold *loves* cardboard! She will have this playhouse chewed to bits in no time! Hope you're well, love to you!

DeleteHappy end of August, Honeybee! What a fabulous assortment of pictures you featured on this post! I had to look twice at the picture of the red frog and hose. At first glimpse, I thought it was a red frog and snake. Hard to believe the girls will be 3 on Tuesday! Enjoy these remaining days of August; the '-ber' months are almost here.
ReplyDeleteThe -bers are my favorite!

Have a great week, Mary!
DeleteWhat beautiful pictures. I had to look twice at the first picture of mushrooms, they almost don't look real. I thought at first it was a new crafting project. I too am tired of the heat. Been a bit cooler these past several days, we have had our windows open. YEAH! I can't leave cardboard too long in my house one of our fur babies will tear it to bits. stitchinrose
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your open windows! It'll be a long while yet til we can open ours. I love fresh air in the house!
