Project Holder Happiness

Two confessions: One, I have a thing about bags. Not purses. Bags. Specifically organizer-type bags. Love them. No resistance whatsoever. Two, as a result of #1, I am ever in search of my next favorite project organizer holder bag thingy.

Found it!

A couple of weeks ago I was prowling around on Amazon, as one does, and I don't think I was even looking for project bags when I stumbled across this book sleeve. I thought it was cute and clicked on it, to check it out further. When I saw it opened, I think I may have heard angels.

Y'all. The stitchy perfection.

Pockets! Pockets for my project, my thread bed, my threads/floss, and my magnetic chart holder! What?!

I cautiously ordered only one, just to get a hold of it and see if it really was as perfect as it looked, and behold! It was! I started using it and after a few days I loved it so much I ordered a couple more. It's the perfect size to lie on my lap with all my stuff, and easy to close and lay aside when werewolves need snuggles, which happens often.

If you decide to go hunt for one of these, THIS IS IMPORTANT: Search for "book sleeve with zipper" but be aware, there are TWO kinds. MOST will just be a sleeve the book slips into, with a zipper at the top. Only a couple of sellers have the ones that zip all the way open and have pockets. They will have a picture of the open book sleeve on the listing you see as you're scrolling. They vary in price, depending on the design, but they're generally in the $10-15 range. If you're looking for a new project holder but can't swing the $60+ for those beautiful handmade fabric ones, these are a great alternative.

Happy Stitching!
