I'm back. Summer of Halloween began with quarantine and ended with food poisoning! I haven't picked up a needle in over two weeks, and my plan to finish strong on my Halloween stitching didn't quite succeed. I've got one last small project about half finished, and had another one ready to go, but I think I'll just go ahead and move on with my fall stitching after I've finished the little one. I had such a blast getting some new Halloween stuff stitched over the summer, but fall is here and I have projects that are calling me.
Nurse Tiger Lily was on duty during the drama.
Magnificent floofy tail.
I'm pretty much back to normal and hope to be able to get back to my stitching this holiday weekend. Hope y'all are well and stitching away!
I'm sorry to hear you were laid low by food poisoning, I know that can be awful. I'm glad you're feeling better now. It's great how much Halloween stitching you've gotten done, and I hope you enjoy your Fall stitching, too! Enjoy the holiday weekend!

DeleteI'm sorry to hear you've been sick... ugh! Two weeks? Oh, honey. Tiger Lily is a good nurse.... looks like she is smiling in one of the photos. Hope you feel better soon if you don't already. Looking forward to seeing your (as always!) beautiful stitching.
ReplyDeleteFall has arrived on the blog! Woohoo! I am sorry that you ended your summer of Halloween stitching with food poisoning. Bummer! I am glad though that you had such a wonderfully attentive care giver during your bout. I am looking forward to seeing what you are going to be stitching this fall. Have a restful weekend with your stitching, dear Honeybee!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear. You too.
DeleteOh, no! I'm so sorry to read about your food poisoning--that sounds like a very serious bout with it, too. Do you know food what caused it? My husband got a very serious case of food poisoning from undercooked chicken from Outback Steakhouse about 25 years ago. Haven't been back since! Glad your sweet kitty was there to help you through it. I so miss my kitty, but with us traveling more now that we're retired (well, my husband has just a few weeks left!), the petless life is easier for us. Take good care now ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol. Not sure exactly what item caused it. It was pretty bad. :O(
DeleteSarah, I sure hope you are feeling much better now. I've had food poisoning and it is not fun. Just take it easy for awhile and get your strength back and you will be back to your usual stitching self. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
ReplyDeleteThanks, RJ!
