Marigold and Butterfly are officially ours! Cookies for everyone to celebrate! These are the collars they were wearing when we brought them home a little over six weeks ago. Look how tiny!
And now look how big!
Four months old on Friday, and four pounds each. Next big adventure: their first road trip to Texas to Grandma's house for Christmas. Y'all. We are doing a road trip with two 4-month-old kittens. Keep us in your prayers!
First Christmas--ready for Santa!
Aww-they're growing fast! Good luck with the trip!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful!! I thought you were fostering them? They are so beautiful and I do wish all of you a peaceful trip!!.
ReplyDeleteFostering to adopt. The shelter lets us take them home but doesn't release them to us before they're spayed. Relieves pressure on the shelter, allows the kittens to get more care, and ensures they get spayed.
DeleteCongratulations on making it official. They're so darned cute and getting so big. We take our cat to Tahoe with us, it's about a 3 1/2 hour drive. We take his cat box with us and put it in the back of the van. Half way there we stop, open his cage and let him use the box, have a bite to eat and drink and let him stretch his legs walking around the van for about 20 minutes and then continue the rest of the way.
ReplyDeletewe travel with 4cats, YES 4 cats to Grandma's and across a border, they will be great!
ReplyDeleteHow cute they are and you will manage it well.
