Thank you all so much for joining me this week and for all your sweet comments. Thank you for being here with me through such a trying year, and for helping me close the door on it in the joyful, peaceful way we have done together for nine years. Though there was no stitching this year, I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you could feel how personal this project was for me, and how much I enjoyed creating it and sharing it with you.
As always, from our house to yours, Merry Christmas!

DeleteEven though there was no stitching, I thoroughly enjoyed your 2022 Open House! I had saved those little bird charts last year intending to make them with wool... well, that didn't happen. Yours are lovely and the whole scene is so peaceful looking. Just perfect for Christmas. I wish you all the best for the coming year--may it be an easier year for both of our families. Take care now--and Merry Christmas ♥

DeletePlease consider my comment to be a thank you note, and sorry it is so late! I only recently discovered your lovely blog and so this was my first experience of your Christmas Open House. Your wonderful tradition is one of the many small blessings that made my Christmas so (unexpectedly) bright this year. You would never know that you had to change and adapt your original plans because I can't imagine how it could have been even better than it was. I fell in love with your absolutely beautiful woodland tree and all your recollections of what made each creature special. Thanks too for sharing the source for the bird cut outs, that's another blog I'm going to enjoy. I can't wait to make some birds and critters of my own. Again, thank you so much for this wonderful blog space you have created and for making my Christmas even better! Wishing you & yours the very best, Ada
ReplyDeleteOh, Ada, bless your sweet heart. Thank you, and welcome!
